Madness: Character Profiles

So I usually throw together character sketches or profiles when I start writing something. Just to have references and to make sure I have the characters in my head. Madness is interesting because I wrote the initial scene with another character in mind, changing some details about her and obviously the environment, but then that morphed into a full story. And then she went and matured on me. I looked over her old character profile a little while back and laughed at my young teenager self.

So here are some updated profiles for Madness:


Name: Angel Evora
Occupation: Death Runner the Devil, Mercenary
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Personality: Cold and closed off. She tried to protect herself from her situation by assuming her role of the Devil. She is very straightforward and blunt. She is protective over Logan but otherwise does not have any close ties. She is deadly and precise and does not have any mercy for those who cross her. She is scared of weakness
Attitude: Cold, quiet, dark burning anger. Had perfected the death glare.

Hair: Bright (almost unnatural) red. Sweeping bangs cut just above her eyes with long pieces on the side. Very long, usually kept up in a pony tail. Very straight, doesn't hold curls. Smooth texture.
Eyes: Gun metal gray. Usually flat or angry.
Skin: Very pale with red/pink tones.
Build: Short and compact. Extremely fit with muscles built for quick bursts of speed. Slender limbs and fingers.
Markings: Tattoo of white angel wings on her shoulder blades down to her waist. Various scars on her torso from battles and weapon testing. She heals any scars on her arms and legs to remove marks of weakness, keeps the ones hidden under clothes to remind herself

Favorite Outfit
Shirt: Sleeveless, dark gray, turtleneck, stretchy material, longish through the torso
Pants: Fitted, boot-cut blue jeans, mid high waist, deep pockets
Jacket: Three-quarter length sleeved leather jacket, stiff collar, zips up.
Shoes: Bright green tennis shoes with white laces that she keeps as clean as possible
Accessories: Fingerless leather gloves, headset/earplugs, usually carries a gun or two on various holsters, same with a knife



Name: Evaan Bierona
Occupation: Corporate Executive Officer for the Bierona Corporation, former Death Runner Black Knight
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Personality: Since returning to the Inner Circle to run his family's company, Evaan comes off as a professional socialite when in public and ruthless business man when at work. His personal life is kept very personal with several close friends in the Inner Circle from his childhood. He did not keep any connections to his Death Running days. He dates casually, never staying with the same girl for more than two dates. He finds himself lost and lonely in this fake world and longs to go back to Death Running but shoulders the responsibility of the company and being his sister's guardian instead. Is is very open to oppurtunity but dangerous in unfavorable situations
Attitude: Playboy business mogul with a predatory edge

Hair: Blonde spikes, inch to two inches long, golden in color
Eyes: Sharp blue, very intelligent, electric
Skin: Golden tan, very manicured
Build: Tall, athletic, built for speed
Markings: Bar code tattoo on his neck to remind him he's just apart of the system

Favorite Outfit
Shirt: Black with silver pinstripe button down shirt, usually opened to mid chest, silver cuff links
Pants: Black fitted slacks with black belt with blue/silver buckle
Jacket: Silver blazer, well fitted with blue buttons
Shoes: Black leather boots with low heel, rubber for silent walking.
Accessories: Chain with family crest (dragon) around his neck, he would carry around his Black Katana if society wasn't rude about it.

Name: Logan
Occupation: Computer hacker, weapon designer
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Personality: Very protective, highly intellectual, very methodical and proud about his engineering and computer skills. He cares a lot about those that are close to him but sometimes forgets to take care of himself especially when he is deep in a new project. He has a stable background and went into weapon designing for the money. He got into computer hacking after joining a rebellious group in college but when he did not agree with their methods in reducing the separation between those in the Inner Circle and those who aren't. He took Angel in after saving her as a girl and treats her like a little sister first, and a business partner second. He worries a lot about her but believes in letting her do what she wants.
Attitude: Big brother, snarky engineer.

Hair: Messy, curly dark brown that he keeps short enough not to get into his face, kinda shaggy
Eyes: Forest/emerald green, soft and worried, bad vision so he wears glasses or contacts
Skin: Naturally tan but since he doesn't get out much he's pretty pale
Build: Tall and lanky, not much muscle tone, bony
Markings: Personal crest tattooed on the middle of his chest

Favorite Outfit
Shirt: Slouchy black tee shirt or similar dark muted color, long through the torso, hangs off of him
Pants: Cargo murky khakis, has to wear like two belts to keep them on, found something long enough to trail on the ground
Jacket: Flannel over shirt, solid dark green
Shoes: Ratty gray (might have been a color once) tennis shoes
Accessories: Black glasses, earpiece for communication with Angel.
