So I have an original story all laid out with plot, twists, characters, something of a land map, most everything. But the biggest thing that I am missing which is keeping me from actually writing it are the names. I don't have anything named. Not the land, the cities, the characters. Nothing. All I have for them are titles. So I am going to post the characters here, for now at least, to see if I can generate some names.
The Narrator
The hero's best friend
Small build, dark but kinda boring appearance
First one found by the monk, runs into monk
Finds cursed blade which craves blood, it gets into his head and drives him into a crazed bloodlust
He keeps it a secret from the group because the hero steadfastly believes in no killing, but in battle he can't help himself
Has control until the first bite of blood
Uses accidents and self defense as excuses
The blade convinces him that he is a monster
The mage girl discovers the secret and helps him with control
He becomes jealous of the hero and his relationship with the knight but eventually develops one with the mage girl
The Hero
The golden boy who will save the world from darkness
Large build, wide shoulders, tanned, golden hair, golden eyes
Monk finds him after going home with the narrator
He is declared the hero who will wield a legendary sword again the great evil that threatens the world as they know it
Makes a pledge to save as many as he can which includes the enemy soldiers, will not kill
Legendary weapon comes with a guardian knight who watches the wielder for proof of worth and stains of corruption
Hero and knight become close which makes the narrator jealous/feeling replaced
The Monk
A man of the order who is blessed with the Sight of the End
He is charged with wandering the lands to discover the meaning of his visions
Fairly mild with a few eccentricities, very scholarly, believer of nonviolence
He runs into the narrator and finds the hero, explains the Sight and its coincidence with prophecies

The Mage Girl
She is affiliated with wind sprites and constantly has a host of the local population surrounding her
Light and bubbly personality, slight build, red hair, green eyes
The mass of wind sprites cause her to have to button/zip/fasten all of her clothes
She is journeying in order to research artifacts that also gather lots of magic to try to find a connection between them and her issues
Eventually discovers the narrator's problem with controlling the blood lust and advises him using the techniques she has also needed
Starts off infatuated with the hero until she grow close to the narrator
The Guardian Knight
She wakes when the hero finds the legendary sword and has him make an oath
She joins the group to watch over the sword and then to watch over the hero
She grows close to the hero which triggers the narrator's jealousy
Very stern and closed emotionally, long lived
Large build, very strong, brown hair and gold eyes (taken from hero)
Uses a spear and shield
